Show yourself some TLC!

February is a great month for spending time doing what you love! Stay healthy through cold season by boosting your immune system.

♥Stop smoking now, and if you don\’t, do not plan on starting nicotine in any form including the hookah or e-cigarettes. Smoking gives you wrinkles, stains the teeth and increases cancer risk!!

♥Avoid sleep deprivation (Yay for not having eye bags!) for better looking skin and energy level.

♥Release your stress through meditation, work outs, counseling, or just catching up with friends. Stress comes from things out of your control, so stop worrying about it already! Go have some good laughs at a movie or comedy show.

♥Limit sugar because it decreases effectiveness of your immune system! Sugar inhibits phagocytosis, the process by which viruses and bacteria are engulfed and chewed up by white blood cells.

♥Get regular medical and dental checkups! One ounce of prevention is worth more than one pound of cure. Make sure to floss once a day, brush prior to ingesting acidic drinks or wait at least 30 minutes after ingestion to prevent tooth weakening and discoloration.

♥ Eat and drink healthy items! Try to incorporate more fluids like water, flavored water with no sugar, or 1% milk. Vegetables such brussel sprouts, asparagus, and broccoli are alkaline foods that will help keep your teeth strong.

♥Incorporate positive thinking, a positive attitude will get you far in life and give you a less stressful life
